Sunflower Maze
Did you know there are less than 5 Sunflower Mazes in the World, 2 of which can be found in Canada? (the other is located in Nova Scotia) That’s right, there is nothing quite like the unique experience of navigating a field grown from 100,000 Smiling Sunflowers! The Sunflower Maze is open from the beginning of August until mid October, however, if you want to come when it is blooming, it is best to visit during August. Check our Facebook page for Bloom Updates. Each year the maze tends to bloom at a different time.
Corn Maze
When we opened in 2006 there were only 4 other Corn Mazes in the Province, today there over 10. Our Maze is not the largest, and may not grow the tallest, but it is the only one grown without the use of Synthetic Fertilizers or Herbicides, and the only connected to a Sunflower Maze. Once we have our Organic Certification, we will have Canada’s Only Certified Organic Maze.
Tree Maze
We borrowed the idea of tree mazes from another Canadian Farm which boasts having 7 tree mazes. It is not our goal to out number their mazes, however, the popularity of our first tree maze, grown from willows, prompted us to start 2 new tree mazes in the summer of 2015 to be grown from dog wood, cotoneaster & Lilac.
Patio Maze
Patio Mazes are deceivingly difficult. Although they are only twice the size of a dinning room table, some of these little puzzles can take 10-15 minutes to solve. Every couple years we add some more and currently have a total of 4.
